This Privacy Policy explains how Zipbooks Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you visit BillingVerse websites, request a demo, use BillingVerse, or connect to BillingVerse through third-party platforms such as Meta.

This policy applies to billingverse.com, www.billingverse.com, app.billingverse.com, related BillingVerse services, demo request forms, support interactions, and any integrations or login flows we provide. It applies to business users, account administrators, store users, demo requesters, and visitors.
2. Information We Collect
Account and business information
We may collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, role, company details, outlet details, tax identifiers, billing address, user permissions, and configuration settings needed to provide the service.
Operational data entered in BillingVerse
Customers may enter product, stock, sales, purchase, accounting, customer, supplier, employee, invoice, return, payment, report, and similar business records. This information is processed to provide the BillingVerse service.
Demo, support, and contact information
When you request a demo or contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as name, company, email, phone number, requirement details, and related communication history.
Authentication and third-party platform data
If you use a third-party login or integration, including Meta or Facebook products where enabled, we may receive information allowed by that platform and your permissions, such as your app-scoped user ID, name, email address, profile information, account connection status, page or business identifiers, tokens, and permissions required for the integration. We use this information only to authenticate you, connect your account, provide requested functionality, maintain security, and comply with platform requirements.
Technical and usage information
We may collect IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring pages, pages visited, timestamps, logs, error reports, session events, and approximate location derived from IP address. We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site operation, security, analytics, and user experience.
reCAPTCHA and anti-abuse checks

4. Meta Platform Data
If BillingVerse uses Meta APIs, Facebook Login, WhatsApp Business Platform, Instagram APIs, or related Meta developer tools, we process Meta Platform Data only for the purposes clearly described in this policy and the connected BillingVerse feature. We do not sell Meta Platform Data. We do not use Meta Platform Data for unrelated advertising, profiling, or resale. Access to Meta Platform Data is limited to authorized systems and personnel who need it to provide, secure, or support the service.
5. Legal Basis Where Required
Depending on your location, we process personal data based on one or more lawful grounds: performance of a contract, legitimate business interests, compliance with legal obligations, consent, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

We do not sell personal information.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide BillingVerse, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain backups. Business records may be retained according to customer settings, contractual terms, legal requirements, and backup cycles. Demo and support records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for business follow-up and compliance.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. These safeguards may include access controls, encryption where appropriate, logging, secure hosting, backups, and role-based permissions. Account administrators can manage many user and business records inside BillingVerse. For requests that cannot be completed in the product, contact support@billingverse.com.

You can request deletion of your personal data or Meta Platform Data by following our Data Deletion Instructions. We may retain information where required for legal, tax, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup, or legitimate business purposes.
11. International Processing
BillingVerse may use cloud infrastructure and service providers located in India or other countries. Where information is transferred internationally, we take steps designed to protect it in accordance with applicable law and this policy.
12. Children's Privacy
BillingVerse is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice through the website, application, or email.
